Graduate Show- pArt of Pontypridd
pArt of Pontypridd is an art trial coming to Pontypridd town centre May 14th to May 16th 2020. This trail will be created by third year Creative and Therapeutic arts students as part of their graduate exhibition. This trail is in collaboration with the University of South Wales, Your Pontypridd plus many small businesses and organisations around Pontypridd.
My piece of artwork for the exhibition will be based in Ynysangharad War Memorial Park.
Here are images of the early stages of my art piece. Hedgehog awareness is the theme behind my installation in the park. I will be creating crochet hedgehogs and a crochet hanging habitat in order to stop British hedgehogs going extinct. I will be working with the British Hedgehog society in order to gain intense knowledge of the subject.
