Creative Access Resource for Immortality by Henri Fantin-Lantour (1889)

This crochet glove was created to enhance a visually impaired participants experience of the painting Immortality. My aim was to recreate the focal point of the painting in crochet form, as if the person wearing the glove was within the painting. This resource is displayed in Cardiff Museum before being used on their trolley for their access tours.

Plastic Bag Hanging Baskets

This installation was created to encourage the public to recycle and upcycle plastic. I cut plastic bags into strips and crocheted them into hanging baskets and a huge plant pot. The plants create an immersive experience, each improving air quality and wellbeing in their own way.

Seeds of the NHS

This carved wood sunflower was created to symbolise the many jobs within the NHS, working together to ensure people blossom through recovery. This exhibition was in collaboration with Garth and is located in St Woolos Hospital. At the exhibition the public placed feedback on the artwork, this was a lovely way to hear from our audience.

The Suitcase Project

In collaboration with Hijinx Theatre, myself and four other artists created this suitcase, based on the Hijinx production Second Star to the Right. We also created art workshops within a school for children with learning difficulties, these led to a game at the end of the project which we all played. The suitcase artwork was then exhibited in the Cardiff Millennium Centre whilst the production was in theatre
